You need someone who will take the time to listen to you, hear your concerns, and work hard for your legal needs.

Christine brings decades of experience, expertise and a passion for advocacy to her client’s cases. She understands that listening to her client’s story, concerns, and questions is the foundation to providing quality legal representation.

Christine began serving the legal needs of LGBTQ individuals at a time when laws excluded and penalized LGBTQ people. As a result, she developed the ability to apply innovative solutions to difficult legal problems, as well as to challenge the law through litigation. She is motivated by a desire to promote the individual rights and liberties of people who have been denied those rights based on their identity, such as race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Her work has included:

  • Civil rights and employment law - discrimination, sexual harassment, & retaliation based on sexual orientation, gender identity, sex, race, and ethnicity against police agencies, cities and corporations.
  • Family law - custody, separations and divorce specializing in LGBTQ+ cases; represented children in parental abuse, neglect and delinquency cases.
  • Criminal law - crimes based on HIV/AIDS status, police sting operations involving gay men, criminal sexual conduct, drugs, embezzlement and violent crimes.

Christine has obtained favorable verdicts for her clients by litigating bench and jury trials in state and federal courts, negotiating successful settlements, obtaining criminal "not guilty" verdicts and advantageous plea arrangements.
